Sharon Njie
Sharon Njie is the Refugee Congress Delegate for Louisiana. She is an asylee from Cameroon.
Sharon serves as the Communication and Strategic Partners Director at the Louisiana Organization for Refugee and Immigrants (LORI), where she supports refugees, asylum seekers, and other forcibly displaced people transition to and thrive in their new home in Louisiana.
She is also an instructor at the College of Business at Southern University and A&M College Baton Rouge. She is active on a number of committees, including the Vice Chair of Refugee Congress’ Advocacy & Communications Committee, the Spark Change Refugee Advisory Council, and the Never Again Action Board.
